Scholarships

HEAT was designed to help our dancers grow, pursue their goals, and prepare them for the real world – especially in the dance industry.  HEAT provides our dancers with highly sought out opportunities to pursue their dance career in a variety of directions – whether that be commercial, theatrical, company, or collegiate.

Our partners include: AMDA, Hussian College, TAPS, Joffrey Ballet School NYC, Bloc Talent Agency, Go2Talent Agency, and Millennium Dance Complex.

GO2Talent Agency Scholarship

The audition process can be very intimidating and sometimes scary. This is especially true of our young generation that are ready to go out, spread their wings into the real world, and audition for the first time.

Many dancers find it too frustrating to compete with hundreds of dancers in the same room and sometimes even give up on their dreams because of it.  For this reason, we have created this special award – The Industry Scholarship.

Heat Dance Convention is very proud to present our partnership with Go2Talent Agency.  Go2Talent is one of the top agencies in the dance industry and represents some of the top choreographers and dancers.

This Scholarship will allowed the recipient dancer, the opportunity to skip the hardest part of the audition process and have a direct meeting with the Go2Talent for potential representation.

This scholarship will be given at each Heat event and, in selected cities, there will be a Go2Talent Agent present in our audition to scout dancers and sign representation during the event weekend.
